SHASHAMANI describes herself as a storyteller. Her projects often share her story of being a Black Christian, born in the small city of Wolverhampton and brought up with strong Jamaican and Grenadian influences. The main aim of SHASHAMANI’s work is to spread joy and make it easily accessible through visual and live performances.
SHASHAMANI has created work (in collaborations and solo) through short films, exhibitions, costume design and creative direction in musical/ movement performances.
