Miriam Haworth
Born Hamilton, Ontario, Canada 1922
Miriam Haworth taught screen printing and serigraph printing at the Central School of Art from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. She worked in California as a ceramist, printmaker, and painter. Her prints are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the New York Public Library and the Los Angeles County Museum. Three of her serigraphs have won Pennell Purchase Awards at the Library of Congress. Her work was shown in many major exhibitions of prints and serigraphs.
