DescriptionThis image depicts scenes associated with Autumn and rural life in England. Food appears to be the prevelant theme, the whole scene being dominated by a kitchen dresser, the shelves of which are filled with jars of preserves, vegetables and baskets of berries. There are also a number of animals - notably a hedgehog, squirrels and a chicken. The title - "Autumn" - is incorporated into the surrounding imagery, in decorative type towards the bottom edge of the print.
