CSM Museum & Study Collection
A rich art and design teaching collection containing Japanese prints, German film posters, medieval manuscripts and more recent work produced by staff, students and alumni including jewellery, photographs, textiles and fashion garments. The collection also contains some historical college records.

British Artists' Film & Video Study Collection is a unique research collection dedicated to the work of UK and international moving image artists.
UAL Art Collection
The UAL Art Collection, dating back to 1987 when the colleges of the University were first brought together, consists of more than 850 pieces of work in a wide variety of media, charting the story of the University and that of its talented students and graduates.
The Camberwell Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) Collection
A historic collection containing British and Scandinavian domestic design (c.1950-1975) including glassware, metal and plastics. Significant examples of studio pottery and ceramics by established artists. Mid-century craft and making, including non-European material culture.
The David Usborne Collection
The collection of a private individual with an interest in the form and function of twentieth century tools. The collection contains over 500 objects, apparatus and instruments which represent a range of disciplines and geographies.
Ballets Russes Collection
A collection of early twentieth century costume from Russian dance company, the Ballet Russes. Including garments, accessories and textiles.
Central Lettering Record
The Central Lettering Record was started by Nicolete Gray and Nicholas Biddulph in the 1960s and is now part of the Central Saint Martins Museum & Study Collection. The collection contains 10,000 photographs and 3,000 slides showing the richness and diversity of lettering. It also includes many type manufacturers’ specimens and promotional material from the mid-1950s onwards.
Katharine Hamnett Sustainable Fabric Archive
In 2013, fashion designer Katharine Hamnett CBE donated a collection of over 1000 textile samples to Centre for Sustainable Fashion at London College of Fashion. The samples now form an archive which spans two decades and represents Hamnett’s use of, and research into sustainable fabrics. The collection is divided by material composition including: Pure Cotton, Cotton Blends, Silk, Silk Blends, Hemp, Hemp Blends, Wool, Wool Blends, Linen, Recycled Polyester, Recycled Polyester Blends, Recycled Plastics and Miscellaneous.
