Cecilie Maurud Barstad is a designer, illustrator and author.
She founded The Gilles and Cecilie Studio in 2006 with Gilles Jourdan, who she met at Central Saint Martins while studying graphic design. Gilles & Cecilie is a multi-disciplinary creative team providing illustration, interior, installation and wallpainting.
In December 2020, she published 'Rear Window', an illustrated anthology observing life in Highbury Stadium Square during the London Lock Down.
