Noriko Suzuki
Birth Date: 1967
Noriko Suzuki is a visual artist whose practice concerns investigating ways people create connections with place. Her works include painting, drawing, mixed-media collage, applied craft and artist books.
After studying painting at Central Saint Martins she did her PhD at Southampton Solent University 2015-2016.
Her PhD research explored the artists’ book – an artwork in a book form – as a process of cooperative art making. She sees the artists’ book as a social medium for creating situations where exchange
Since completing her PhD, Noriko has been busy thinking of ways to keep the book 'open' and in movement.
