Peter Wildbur (1927-2019) was one of the group of 1951 at Central School of Arts & Crafts. His contemporaries were Derek Birdsall and Ken Garland. He was one of the pioneers of post-war British graphic design. He was co-founder together with George Daulby, Derek Birdsall and George Mayhew in 1959 of BDMW Associates, which took on a wide range of design work from the simple letterheading for a start-up company to the planning and implementation of corporate identities. He was particularly interested in Information Design and co-wrote with Michael Burke the book Information Graphics: Innovative Solutions in Contemporary Design.
He also wrote International Trademarks Design.
