Edith Ruby Brews

One of Edith Brews' wood engravings, 'Head', was singled out by Malcolm Salaman for reproduction in his Studio publication, 'The Woodcut of Today' (p.55). The following year she contributed a print to the eighth annual exhibition of the Society of Wood Engravers. She is best known as a figure painter who exhibited three times at the Royal Academy (c.1932-1933).
