Barbara Hanrahan
Barbara Hanrahan trained in Australia at the Adelaide Teacher's College and took art classes at the South Australian School of Art. She left Australai in 1963 to train at the Central School, where she gained a diploma in etching with distinction. She later taught at Falmout and Portsmouth and occasionally at the South Australian School of Art. During her lifetime she held some 22 solo exhibitions, mostly in Adelaide, but also in London (1969, 1971) and Florence (1970).
She returned to Australia in the early 1980s.
She published several books, including 'The Scent of the Eucalyptus' (1973) and 'Good night, Mr Moon' (1992).
