Suzanne Abell

CSM: MA Art and Science 2023-2025

Suzanne Abell is a mature student, having previously had a career in the UK working in Oral Surgery for the NHS. Art had always been important to her, but finding a way to interconnect her science/medical based background and studying at Central St Martins has been one of the most interesting challenges of her life. The MA Art and Science gave Abell an avenue to explore ideas and establish connections between the two subjects. Her interest in conservation and environmental impacts stems from a childhood spent in Africa and returning there regularly has given me an opportunity to witness the ongoing climate changes and concurrent effects of pollution on both wildlife and communities.
