Ruby Rosier

CSM: BA (Hons) Textile Design (2021-2025)

Ruby Rosier is a London-based designer from Bath, with a curiosity for woven textile
construction. Her practice is driven by humour and irony, which inspire a playful and
inventive approach to fabric creation. She combines an appreciation for functionality with
a focus on how materials interact and react when woven together. Her work has evolved
a lot throughout her time on the Textile Design course at CSM, as she became increasingly curious about the endless possibilities within woven textile construction and began to explore this throughout various projects over the past 3 years. This exploration leads to innovative ways of imagining products through the woven medium - often inspired by the packaging of various products. She is eager to translate construction ideas into new forms and materials, expanding her problem-solving approach to design to span across different sectors within the industry.
