Bhawana Jain

I am Bhawana Jain, an interdisciplinary artist from India, currently based in London. My practice moves across drawing, printmaking, installation, performance, sound, and video, exploring the relationships between body, land, and memory. I work closely with materials, gestures, and environments to think through ideas of care, listening, and connection.

Rooted in South Asian ecologies and ancestral knowledge, my work often emerges through quiet, process-led encounters with place and breath. I’m interested in how personal rituals, cultural memory, and embodied experience can open up new ways of relating to the world around us. Through slowness and attention, I hope to create spaces that invite reflection and ecological sensitivity.
