Biograpy from the artist:My name is Ruthann Wambui Mburu. I am from London and I am interested in photography and styling. I have developed a journalistic and personal approach to my work, drawing inspiration from my personal experiences and my Kenyan heritage. I aim to create work that highlights the stories of people and inspires those around me. I have seen myself evolve into a multi-disciplinary artist as I combine my photography, styling, journalism, spoken word and music all together to create meaningful and authentic work.
