Matilda Moreton

School: Central Saint Martins

Matilda graduated from the ceramics department of Central St Martin's College of Art and Design in 2004, with a degree show piece called Liquid History
The fourth panel, depicting the Docklands and using digital print technology was purchased by CSM for the college collection. After graduation Matilda has used digital print technology in a range of commissions for Health Care:

2006-7: Blackett's Group Practice, Darlington, Co. Durham
2008: Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, Bucks
2010: Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London
2011: Trees Residential Care Home, Highgate, London
2011: Coventry & Warwickshire University Hospitals, Coventry, W. Midlands
2018: Beatrice Place residential care home for elderly patients, Kensington

These projects all involved historical research of the locations and used archive photographs and maps as a starting point for the work, which was completed using digital print technology.
