Nigel Vincent Walters FSIAD
Nigel Walters, taught at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts and later at the Central School of Arts & Crafts. He met William Johnstone in the late 1940s at Camberwell was invited to teach at the Central School when Willam Johnstone became the Principal there.
Educated at Kingston School of Art and from 1941 at the Royal College of Art.
He was a lecturer in Furniture design at the Central School from 1948 and Head of Interior Design and Furniture from 1958.
Principal Lecturer in the Industrial design department between 1966-1970.
Walters is mentioned several times in William Johnstone's autobiography (Points in Time).
Member of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers in 1948.
Consultant designer for F Wrighton & Sons Ltd from 1957
Design commissions from Primavera, Rural Industries Bureau, Heals, British Council, Edinburgh Weavers, Imhofs Ltd, etc.
