Gay Hutchings
Gay Hutchings studied languages and worked abroad as an interpreter for many years, before returning to England to study painting under Cecil Collins at the Central School. She paints mainly in watercolour and mixed media, as a printmaker she makes relief prints, mono prints and screen prints.
Since 1994, Gay has been working with glass, while still painting and printmaking. She has completed many stained glass commissions including two windows for the Royal London Hospital, a window for the foyer for the Headgate Theatre in Colchester and a memorial window for Peldon Church, Essex.
