Richard Pinkney
Birth Date: 1938
Painter, printmaker and sculptor. Studied painting and printmaking at Ipswich School of Art and education at West of England College, Bristol. Taught at Ipswich, Colchester, Winchester and St Martin's Schools of Art. He has also worked as an administrator at the Lady Lodge Arts Centre in Peterborough, mid 1980s, and as a designer and builder of timber-frame houses in Britain and America. He has produced a variety of work including graphics, abstract screenprints and mail art. Examples of his work are held in the collections of the Tate Gallery, British Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
