Sarah da Costa worked in Pharmaceuticals for fifteen years after her first degree in Life Science at The University of Westminster. She was amazed by the waste and, of course, lack of treatment as a result (Aston University ‘Compliance Study’).
When she came to MA ‘Material Futures’ at CSM, she had studied a conversion diploma to Fashion and Textiles at Croydon where she redesigned the NHS Hospital Gown in an antimicrobial fabric.
