Richard Murry, NEAC (1902-1984) was a painter of landscapes, figures and coastal scenes in oil and watercolour.
Born in Dulwich, he studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, and later at the Slade School.
Murry exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists, the London Group, and with the New English Art Club and the National Society of Painters and Gravers of which two groups he was a full member. He was also elected to membership of the Art Workers Guild.
Examples of his work are held by the National Portrait Gallery and Manchester Art Gallery.
