Derek Lawlor

Derek Lawlor is a knitwear designer, consultant and educator.
He set up his own label in 2009, with a studio made up of freelance textile designers and pattern cutters who produce seasonal collections as well as working as consultants to various companies.
His client list includes Marimekko, Jayne Pierson, Nina Skarra as well as luxury design house 1508 London.
Most recently he has collaborated with Natalie B Coleman and Ethologie By Jasper Garvida.
He has been teaching Textile Design at Central Saint Martins since 2010.
