Description from BAMS Student Medal Project XXXI 2016: 'These opposing themes, growth and destruction, are pertinent as they are intrinsically linked. Destruction allows for new growth, while growth ultimately ends in destruction. I take great interest in working with natural forms, such as the English ivy on this medal!'
