DescriptionPencil drawings of an early 1800s dress at the V&A [195-1904], showing the front and back of a full length dress in ivory satin with short sleeves and cross over bodice. There is embroidery applied down the centre front of the skirt and around the hem. It may have been altered for fancy dress.
