DescriptionComposition was entered into a CEMA open exhibition in Belfast in 1962 and was posted back to William Millar at the college, presumably because the work hadn't sold (it was priced at 95 guineas). The painting was discovered in the basement strongroom of the Lethaby building on Southampton Row in 2009, still parcelled up in it's postal wrapping. The parcel had never been opened.
