DescriptionHistoriated major initial 'E', inhabited by a figure who resembles the representations of Christ in this series (and F.33 and 34) set on a gold rectilinear ground (outlined in black) with a blue infill (decorative overpainting in silver, now white). However, there is no cross in the halo of this figure; this would either suggest that it isn't Christ (but a Saint), that it was unfinished, or that it is damaged (which seems quite unlikely).
