Cream band on brown depiscting crowned figure and beast, gouache; labelled 'Part of tapestry woven shoulder band St. Michael and the dragon, Akhmim, 5th or 6th century'. 4. Angel and virgin ib dull blue and cream, gouache; labelled "Blue-dyed resist print The Annunciation, Akhmim, 5th or 6th century'. 5. Figure in white, black and beige on dark red; labelled 'Emperor in Quadriga tapestry-woven tunic band, Byzantine, 8th or 9th century'. 6. Floral design in colours on white, gouache; labelled 'Embroidered cot-quilt wool on linen, c. 1700-1725' 7. Detached from board. 8.
