DescriptionDesigns mounted on board: 1. Leaves and flower heads, partly coloured on blue ground, ink and gouache; labelled 'Design for machine printing on silk organia'. 2. Grey blocks joined by fine bright lines on dark brown ground, most blocks decorated in some way in lime, blue, pink or white, gouache; labelled 'Screen printed design for silk'. 3. Streaked design in blues, highlighted with purple and white dots and tiny white birds, gouache; labelled 'Design for fine wool'. 4. Flower head sketch, gouache on dark green paper. 5. Red and white checks, red checks ornamented with pink spots, white checks with black outline leaves crudely infilled with lime or pink, ink and gouache; labelled "Machine print for summer cotton'. 6. Coltsfoot sketch; goauche on black paper. 7. Circles of coloured flowers between lines composed of black leaves and grasses, on beige; labelled 'Design for shantung afternoon dress machine print'. 8. Black ground with circles in bright pink, with stylized flowers and leaves, gouache and pencil; labelled 'Design for summer shirts cotton machine-printed'. 9.
