DescriptionHistoriated major initial 'E' on a gold rectilinear ground (with black outlining) infilled with blue and inhabited by a figure, praying. This particular figure, in red and green robes, resembles the images of Christ in this series; however, no halo or cross would seem to suggest that it isn't actually intended to represent Christ (unless the manuscript was left unfinished, which does seem unlikely).
