The 17 etchings in this edition are chosen from 60 plates produced on the 12th and 13th May 1981. These two days were spent in Wiltshire travelling across Salisbury Plain, through Avebury, Kingston Lisle, Sutton Mandeville and Stonehenge. The plates were drawn and in some cases etched in the landscape. The etchings are by Norman Ackroyd, Robert Claytor, Mark Rafter and Allan Wilkie.

Handset, printed and bound at the Central School of Art and Design in an edition of 19 numbered copies, signed by the artists. The printing was completed in January 1983.
