DescriptionThis portfolio has been published in a limited edition of 125 copies with eight etchings and eight poems. In addition there are fifteen numbered artist's proofs bound in leather containing eight etchings and eight poems, an early state etching and an original typescript.
The plates are etched in Glasgow, London and Indiana and printed by Jane Godfrey and Letty Thompson under the artist's supervision in London on Japanese mould-made paper.
The first six poems are taken from "Long Ships in Harbour" published by Eyre and Spottiswode, 1970.
