DescriptionThis is the companion piece to P.108 and was number 18 in the Triumph series. The low cart of musicians (lute and viol players) is being hauled by the two Elk found in P.108. Treitszaurwein's commmentary on the Emperor's specifications (see Documentation) are as follows: "And on the cart shall be fine Lutenists and ryebeben players. And their leader shall be Antus (Master Lutenist) and his verse, borne by the boy [the Elk rider from P.108] shall read - How he prepared the Lutes and the Viols in the most artistic way for an entertainment by the Emperor's orders - The Lutenists, viol players, and the boy shall all be wearing Laurel wreaths".
