Description from BAMS Student Medal Project XXXI 2024:
'Schrödinger's cat is a metaphor in physics for superposition, when the act of measuring a quantum decides its state. Rejecting this binary existence and interpreting the theory through my own life as a non-binary person, its dual nature cbecomes freedom and oppression. My medal is a symbol of the eternal exchange between acceptance and resistance.'
