A collection of drawings illustrating Liberty Ayliffe's reunification plan for the residents of Eel Pie Island on the River Thames.

Description by the artist:
"With 35% of Eel Pie Island’s population being over the age of 60, a notoriously lonely stage of life, I wanted to devise a way to unify all of its users in a way that was both physically and psychologically beneficial.

Through my intervention, I aim to bring all Eelpilanders and passing boat dwellers together through the activity of foraging, cooking, and the collective enjoyment of the day’s findings. Each activity involves spending time outdoors, encourages movement and fosters social connection, all proven to improve both physical and mental health.

I believe that the programming of knowledge exchange at each stage of use is aligned with the core beliefs of Eel pie island."
