DescriptionTianai studied BA Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion. She says, ''Herstory' explores the lived experiences of rural Chinese women, interwoven with Buddhist symbolism and vernacular culture. Using staged fashion photography, I reflect on the invisibility of women’s labour and the pressures of idealised femininity. Transparent 3D-printed props, inspired by both Buddhist ritual objects and rural domestic tools, embody unseen struggles and resilience. Through this project, I aim to question how gender, spirituality and cultural identity intersect, while offering space for reflection on the value of women’s efforts within shifting social structures'.
