DescriptionDaniel studied BA Drawing at Camberwell College of Arts. He says, 'My work explores the relationship between the internet and the people that inhabit it, the modern relationship between people and their phones and moreover, the constant access to a camera. The work surrounds a woman named Cynthia Lowell. Cynthia Lowell is a librarian from Michigan that I discovered while scrolling on Pinterest. She posts incessantly and has uploaded countless ‘boards’ full of images. Me and Cynthia have not interacted. She is not aware that I am using the images she has posted as the content within my artwork. While she has become a muse of sorts for me, Cynthia personifies broader issues of privacy and internet use'.
