BA Textile Design students Lily Thornton, Phoebe Sudderick, Michael Woods, and Mimi Forrest devised their own visual data collection using London transport as inspiration for weave and printed textiles. From this, four students were selected by staff from the Museum and Textile Companies to take their designs to the Weaving Futures studio.
Lily is interested in themes surrounding the overlooked and chance procedure, generating ideas through found and assembled fragments of everyday.
