Exploring themes of origin, memory, and belonging, her works delve into local community issues and the role of humans in society. She employs diverse materials, from cement to paper, to convey abstract and biomorphic forms, touching on historical and environmental concerns. Duong's innovative approach engages viewers, aiming to decolonize narrative construction, while acknowledging colonial impacts and modern industrialization. Through trans-historical and trans-cultural knowledge, her art forms a cohesive body of work, prioritising intellectual rigour and reconfiguring present knowledge production with insights from the past'.
