DescriptionSeated figure in black clay with petals. Description from the designer: “I feel as if I'm losing my all leaves.”
This is a line from The Father. The main character Antony who has been taken over by Dementia.
I realised I have felt in a similar way many times even I am, so called, a healthy young person.
I have likened the growth of a man to a flower. We absorb the nutrient and bloom. However, when things are not going as expected, when the meaning and goal of life couldn’t be found, I felt like my flower has withered. The petals slowly fall off, and yet all I can do is staring at them laying on the ground.
But the petals can become the nutrient again. The struggles, the confusion about the future, they will all become the nutrient for us to bloom again.
