DescriptionDanning studied MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts. She says:
'This project is made to explore the impact that social norms and culture have on women, which extends from the mental to the external. The external includes both clothing and body image, which interact with each other. I transformed the women in these paintings into abstract, vase-like sculptures. The ceramics are the clothes, and the balloons represent the woman's body. It is a provocation and subversion of social norms and established impressions'.
