DescriptionDescription by the artist: Research of the essence is a quest of an aquatic nature present, an exploration among the multiple layers in my aquatic environment. Especially from the Caribbean Sea. I combine scientific observation from oceanography and spiritual philosophy in order to represent what is inside this element, the essence. The mineral studies is a quest of the mineral from the mountainous island of Haiti. Then I use the resistance of the rice paper to absorb totally the concentration of my pigment and its transparency dedicated to an inner representation in the matter and intrusion in minds. Through this study, I enterprise a study of the paper, his different types
and character to integrate their characteristics in my research. Employ the specificity of each paper to the type of landscapes, textures wanted. In order to think about the paper, use it as an inherent surface in my landscape. Becoming an organic landscape.
