Description from the artist:
Photographic object series of works are an exercise of creativity, research and my attempt to comprehend photography as an art practitioner.
I worked as a darkroom technician for a couple of years now. It was not at the beginning intentional, it just kind of happened. I was the one responsible for developing films and mixing chemicals for the processing machines, I was the one to cut them for clients too, sometimes I would do darkroom hand printing. I have a great fascination for objects. I find a thing being a thing very interesting, I guess that speaks to the nature of things. From day one, I just was looking at all these interesting objects around me and I could not stop thinking about them (referring to postproduction darkroom waste). I would make sculptures out of them for fun or just keep them and bring them home since they were no longer useful in the lab.
Collecting darkroom photo waste for over a year, I saw it as a performative act of collecting the uncollectibles, the unseen parts of the tools, objects which make the image happen. The invisible part of the image.
No one knows about these materials, unless they work in photography, no one knows that without them the actual image might have actually never happened.

Photographic object 10 consists of a number of found materials - film backing paper, film 120 spools, wood and metal artist frame.
