DescriptionTolly studied MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication. He says:
'Worldwide, an estimated 5 million people are diagnosed with epilepsy each year, but the condition is often misunderstood by the wider public. ’More than seizures' is a collaborative campaign aimed at moving understanding of epilepsy away from these misconceptions and providing a deeper representation of the condition. Each participant is given a disposable camera and asked to photograph ways in which epilepsy impacts their lives outside of seizures. Coupled with an audio interview and a portrait, these are then presented both online as a video and a poster (a QR code links the two).
The project also lives on Instagram as @morethanseizures.'
