DescriptionGabriel studied MA Contemporary Photography; Practices and Philosophies at Central Saint Martins. He says this piece is 'a sound installation consisting of a CD player with a scratched disc containing damaged audio recordings of my mother.
I asked my mother if she could record herself saying things to me that she had never said, or things that she was too scared to say, knowing that I would never hear what she said on it. She agreed and sent me an 8-minute recording, which I then burned onto a CD and scratched to make it unreadable.'
