DescriptionYijia studied BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. In this performance work, she says 'my body as the medium explores the boundaries between public and personal space to discuss the impact of the Chinese government's policy on individuals such as the migrant workers and the nomads. By performing in Beijing's public places with a range of cultural and historical background, I intend to explore/expand the notion of territory and interrogate who has the power to determine one's territory.'
