DescriptionJack studied BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. He says:
'My work investigates aspects of memory and subjectivity in relation to space. Over the winter I spent my time in the old Central St Martins building in Holborn, which has laid abandoned for several years. The body of work examines my relationship to that space, working from photographs and memory, the paintings developed through a slow and exploratory process of layering. The work becomes a form of reminiscence, through which I aim to explore my subjective experience of the space, as well as to reflect on what has been lost or abandoned in the process of its decay.'
