DescriptionFelix studied BA Fine Art: Painting at Wimbledon College of Arts. He says:
'This piece is one of four paintings in a series of works based on the oceans' inhabitants, in which I try to show specific lifeforms in unconventional and non-human ways. Shown here is a large illuminated conger eel, which I chose to describe in a way that is abstract but not unrealistic. The paint serves its purpose as a vision into a space and that's all, the painting has no relation to my species other than the fact that I created it, and that's sort of what the work is about.'
