DescriptionSue studied MA Illustration and Visual Media at London College of Communication. She says:
'This work is from a series of illustrations discussing the 'Uncanny Women', which discovers how familiar things becoming unfamiliar can make us feel uneasy. To be more specific on this one, something seemingly to be noodles and oysters are actually woman’s blonde hair and vulva if looking closely.
When the viewers starting to imagine how hair would taste, the uncomfortable feeling occurs. I want to be able to show the work itself as a strange image that people can take a moment to look at, and also feel something different than usual themselves.'
