This work is based on a Korean newspaper in early 20th century which spoke up for the independence of Korea from Japan. “It's interesting to me because they actually put in an article about the British women’s movement in the 1910s (even though it's very short), but nothing about the Korean women who fought for independence and women’s rights.” Here Sein has trying to re-create a Korean newspaper of the 1910s, highlighting the news about women’s suffrage in the UK.
