I imagined illustrated catalogue pages showcasing ‘The Marx Collection’: a series of contemporary chairs and sofas ‘upholstered’ in Marx’s pattern papers designs. Paying homage to her 1930’s seating fabric designs for London Underground, the catalogue applies Marx’s designs to the contemporary modern living space, transporting her work into the 21st century.
