DescriptionTom studied MA Visual Arts: Printmaking at Camberwell College of Arts. His artist's statement says that his work is:
'Involved in trying to understand human relationships to things in nature through image. How does an image change reality? What role do fictions and the imagination have in making the world? Tom’s work explores the porous border between the reality of the elemental landscape (its stones, plants, air and water) and the human idea of places and things; trying to get lost in the interpretive ambiguities involved in attempting to apprehend the world through images.
'Acid Metabolism Exorcist Palmistry' collages found and made imagery to create a misdirecting map of references to prehistory, imaginary places and alchemical transformation.'
