DescriptionRoggero Fossati studied MA Visual Arts: Printmaking at Camberwell College of Arts. Her practice explores the ocean depths, their strange inhabitants and the metaphysical quality of salt water. She uses mass-produced aquarium decorations and dead coral casts as tools to investigate ideas of the numinous, eternity, death and life. Roggero Fossati's images and sculptures evoke a simultaneity of past, present and future landscapes that speak of microcosms, endangered ecosystems and sacred relics.
